Make these delicious, healthy, cookies as a snack or even as a breakfast on the go:
2 cups almond flour (I get mine at Trader Joe's)
4 T butter, melted (Coconut oil also works and makes them vegan)
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
Optional add-ins: 1/2 cup raisins, 1/4 cup shredded coconut, 1/4 cup chopped nuts
350 degrees
1. Cream together first three ingredients. Add the spices and baking soda.
2. Fold in optional ingredients, if using.
3. Drop by spoonfuls on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
4. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Thank you for all that you share. The recipes, resources, planning and excitement of a special diet. I discovered your blog through GAPS. It is encouraging for me and I am looking forward to making these cookies for my family.
Looks yummy sister! Can you post your recipe for cinnamon bun Lara bars? Those were delicious!
Thanks!
Christy (or just email me)
My family would love these. AND I love they are naturally gluten free and nutrient dense, and you have a dairy free option as well.
Thank you!
Wait, you make cinnamon bun Lara bars? mmmm....
Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I will post the cinnamon bun "Lara" bars!
That looks good Carrie! I would use dried cranberries, cherries or blueberries some time instead of raisins...of course, being me I might add chocolate too, but that would make them decadent :)
Those Lara bars sound good...
Can't wait to see y'all and squeeze the little ones, 21 days away!
Love,
Aunt Helen

Nice! My son will be happy to taste such cookies! I'll use your recipe!
Hi! A friend just forwarded this to me. Is the almond flour that you're referring to from TJ's the same as 'Almond Meal?'
I just picked up the almond meal yesterday from there but wasn't sure if I missed another product.
Thanks!
By the way a gluten-free diet is the only common medically accepted treatment for certain celiac disease
i made these and they were awesome! i used half maple syrup and halp honey and then added a bit more syrup. yum! i think it could make a really good crust for a pie.
